Courtyard meeting: At the courtyard meeting held on the date 07.09.2022. Sanora union under Dhamrai Upazila, Ms. Maya Begum, Sanora Union Parishad member said that every village has some problems and our village is no exception from other villages. However, the number of child marriages in our village is much higher than before, Marriage is good but problems arise when the girl is kicked out by her in-laws who pressure her for dowry. Then all those helpless girls came to the Union Parishad to demand justice. Today the women of the village know the legal aid and that they would inform their neighbors and others and if there was any problem they would take the help of the District Legal Aid Office.
Video Projection: At the video projection held on 07 September 2022, Alhajj Md. Abdus Sabur, Ex, Principal Teachers Training College Pabna and member of governing body member of Zafor Bepary High School, Dhamsana union under Savar Upazila said that I learned to see about legal aid services provided in the video documentary. I didn't know about Legal Aid before and never heard about Legal Aid in my service life. If you will be displayed to another school and colleges then the students can see the various videos of Legal Aid issues that they learn when they watch more information collected from legal aid videos. We will discuss this issue with our neighbors, relatives, family members and other teachers in our School. Many thanks to USAID, Democracy International and Aparajeyo- Bangladesh for organizing such programs today. They do more such programs in our school again”.
